I know it has been a long while since you all received our Newsletter. The fact is that we've been looking for someone to replace me as the Host of VintageBentleys.org. I wrote to several of our longstanding contributors offering them this opportunity but regrettably all the replies I received only expressed their inability to spare the time or had other reasons. To be honest I have mixed feelings about giving my job away, so I was a bit relieved that no one wanted it -- at least for now! So I am here to stay as the Host at VintageBentleys.org.
Since 2006, Mona Nath and I have worked to build www.VintageBentleys.org which is perpetually a work in progress — devoted to recording the history of every Vintage Bentley built by W.O. Bentley. As you know, it is based on information and photographs (past and recent records) received from owners, enthusiasts, historians and publications.
No one can live on forever but this website can. It can continue to serve as a trusted resource of Vintage Bentley information for future generations. If you have enjoyed the web site as much as thousands of others have and wish to become involved as the Host, please contact me to discuss the details of the opportunity for us to work together.
