Here is something to think about — the future value of your car. Trends in values of collectors cars over the years are affected by nostalgia for cars of the collector's youth or for their historical importance. Collectors age and forgotten makes and models lose value. The economic can have an affect too. When we go into the next economic downturn, money will move to safe havens. If stocks and/or real-estate values plummet, money will be shifted to investments that are believed to retain or increase in value.
