3 Litre Shock Absorbers

The Hartford shock absorbers are easily adjusted by tightening or loosening the large centre nut which is attached to a pointer. As these shock absorbers can be tightened up more than one turn the best way to adjust them is to slacken the nut till it is finger-tight and the pointer is opposite "0". For normal driving the nut should be tightened so that the pointer is at "4", and for fast driving the pointer should be at "6". The settings for the rear shock absorbers should be "6" for normal driving and for "8" for fast driving.
