J.G. Hutt's 1923 3-litre Bentley bought as chassis

Contributed by Simon Laidlaw (Grand nephew of first owner)

"I'm sending you a photo of my Great Uncle, J.G. Hutt shortly after purchasing the car new in 1923. The car was bought as a chassis and he made this body himself whilst studying at Cambridge University."

ER 867 was bought new by a Scottish student studying at Cambridge University (my great uncle!). It was sold to Selby Howgate and is currently still in the hands of the Howgates - a two-owner car!
