Meet James, proud finisher of the first International 8-Litre Bentley Rally |
|
In particular, I enjoyed the diversity of Bentleys I
was invited to have a guest ride in together with Kathy. Meanwhile Franco and Tiffany
were driving mostly with Werny in our YR 11. My favourite foreign 8-Litre was Mr.
Vaughan Gaskell's GW 1559, a very elegant, unrestored Mulliner Sports Tourer;
already the smell of this old leather, wood and grease is better than any fragrance!
Our chauffeurs in GW 1559 were George Klepp and Tim Houlding, both excellent
drivers! |
