Terry Lister from Warwickshire is here with his wife Margaret. Terry bought the car because he wanted to do some "decent rallies" – he has subsequently done 70,000 miles in it. Despite having bust his Achilles and wearing a boot, he has come saying, "he wouldn’t have missed it for the world".
Mark Hyman from the US has come with his son Drew who is 18. Drew’s been driving his Dad’s Open Sports Tourer but is finding the gears a bit challenging. Mark tells me that "The 8-Litre is my most favourite car – the only drawback is that it makes everything else seem average”..
In the evening there are heartfelt tributes to Franco and Kathy. It has been a unique event. The cars and their drivers have had a real work-out on the mountains but all complete the week.
