This car was driven by Leslie Banks in the 1934 film The Fire Raisers, directed by Michael Powell.

I've noticed that, although the number 10 on the petrol tank is still there, the numbers on both sides of the bodywork have been crudely painted over, as has the Union Flag on the driver's side. The glass for the passengers fly screen is cracked, and there is a large printed sticker of some kind at the top edge of the firewall/scuttle, again on the passenger's side.

The use of the car by Leslie Banks, playing a Fire Assessor called Jim Bronton, is supposed to say that he's not rich, but he has pretensions to wealth.
