At the circuit in France, around 1977

Photograph was taken
at Bentley Drivers Club meet at Pierre
Bardinon circuit.
"YV2525 was my father's car.
I still remember the day that it arrived
in such a sorry state. I have such
great memories of the car, I actually
drove the car at the Pierre Bardonet
circuit when the one photo was taken.
What a pleasure! Only problem was
that my father was keeping an eye
on me and he saw me opposite locking
round one hairpin new the museum ;.)
He told me off and then told all of
BDC members at the evening meal. Great
times. I wish that YV2525 was sitting
in my garage" Symon

"I suppose that the photo
at the circuit in France is around
1977 / 78, I was about 14 at the time.
It was quite a funny trip for me as
most lunchtimes my father had a few
glasses of wine too many and I was
instructed to drive the
" Old Girl" in the afternoon
even though I was under age and had
no license.
I went on quite a few trips in the
"Old girl" with my father
but I don't have any photos at all.
What a shame. Symon Tabbenor,

"Later in life I was
the owner of MP2219
a 4½ that my father built from bits
and pieces. It went really well, would
cruise at 80 mph all day :-). I have
fond memories of doing a few laps
around the Barcelona F1 circuit. Anyway
I sold the car to a guy in the UK
that wanted to do the Paris Peking
rally..." Symon
