"Chassis NR526 was owned by the McPhail family of Perth, Scotland from November 1962 until June 2020, when I purchased it from them direct.
I am waiting on Dr Clare Hay compiling me an inspection report, but know it was delivered on 20/3/1928 to a Miss L Murray, London SW1 with a Gurney Nutting coupe body.
The engine was changed to 742 and a VDP 'standard' tourer body fitted in 1935. It was most recently restored in 6/1987 by Hoffmann's of Henley, nr London UK and has most likely completed no more than 2K miles since.
It hadn't been outside Scotland for 27 years!
Save for a complete inspection, all new consumables, new shock-absorbers, fuel pump, rebuilt magneto’s etc... it’s now ready for the road." |
