1929 Bentley 4½ Litre S/C

"I have a magazine 'Veteran and Vintage' (September 1967) which mentions this car competing in the 'Canadian Tire Centennial Rally. This event took place from July 24th to August 5th 1967. The driver (who I would assume was the owner at that time) was a Mr Harry Rose."

"I own this original painting of YU 3250 by the artist Dion Pears (1929-1985). I believe is water colour mounted and framed and measures 19"x27". The caption reads The Birkin Blowers of Rusty and Harry at Silverstone 1965. This painting was I believe commissioned by the late Rusty Turner."

This picture is dated August 1929 and captioned: 'B. Harcourt Wood drives his Bentley past barricades placed along the street to protect houses before the start of an automobile race.'

The supercharger is mounted between the front dumb-irons.

More Info: Chassis No. HF3187 was extensively rebuilt and renumbered to HB3404/R. It had already been delivered as HF3187. Parts of the original Chassis No. HF3187 have been found in Chassis No. MF3153.
