  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1293 with a standard 4-seater Sports; gold / black; radiator, windscreen surround, hubcaps etc. in brass; 7/1926.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1293. "Golden Bentley no. 2" Radiator, windscreen surround and hub caps brass, painted gold. Grebel headlamps fitted."
