"Bentley RT1534, Reg YN 2534 came to Australia in 1982 and my father Dick bought it in 1984. It passed to me when he died in 1997.... If you require any further information - I have compiled a reasonable history of RT 1534"

Returning, 1-4 Mile Sprints at Victor Harbor, 1991. Car is seen driven by then owner Dick Rymill. The car was passed on to son Tim Rymill in 1997.

According to Michael Hay, this car was owned by R.S.C. Rymill from Australia in the mid-1990s.

1937 Liege-Rome-Liege Rally

This picture is dated July 1935 and captioned: 'A man drives a Bentley convertible from before 1935'.

(One anomaly is that this image definitely shows the 2-seater bodywork but the information from Michael Hay suggests it was only fitted in 1936. Experience of picture libraries suggests that if a date is mentioned it is usually pretty accurate.)

"I have just purchased a large box of old photos from the 1920s to 1940s and it has a lovely black & white 8 inch x 6 inch photo of YN 2534 from the rear. The car has a soft top and a GB sticker on the rear passenger mud guard. The driver and passenger are both pointing out the windows. On reverse it has the Press Stamp (red ink) of London News Agency, 46 Fleet St, London. (I am happy to send photograph and if current owner wishes to buy photograph then happy to sell.)"
