According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder
records, this car was originally fitted
with Body No. 1235 with a Speed model;
standard 4-seater Sports; 12/1925.
Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years,
1997, states: "Vanden
Plas body no. 1235. 4/27 new type low
geared steering box fitted. Engine was
SR 1415 ex ch. SR 1420, now 1055 ex
ch. 1046." |
