"The car has been in our family since 1959. It was restored through the 1960s and early 1970s winning the Club's Concours at Kensington Gardens when completed. It still has the original body, wings and screen etc, with the original aluminium body paneling still complete."

1950 - 1955

"YL 5778 belonged to my late father Dennis Miller-Williams from about 1950 to 1955. It was then black with red chassis and was sold soon after I was born as it was considered unsuitable for transportiing a young child. It was replaced by a brand-new Austin A30!

My father went on to work for Rolls-Royce, and from 1961 to 1982 he was publicity manager for the car division (later Rolls-Royce Motors).

My father was one of the few people allowed to drive of the famous Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost AX201 and he participated in many events with it over the years.

He always maintained an interest in 'real' Bentleys as well as RR ones and through his work he came to know W.O. and Margaret Bentley in their later years.

YL5778 was the same age as my father, who died in July 2016 aged 91."
