"Hi from Eastern PA,
Chassis 946 ended this year's NAVBM meet with a broken starter gear — that I have not taken the time
to fix yet, but will soon. I have to move it and as you most likely know — they don't
push easily.
Our car activities have slowed down but after 51 years with 946 I guess that is ok. It did win two years in a row our local All Brit Car Show (Pa Jag Club main sponsor)
the Most Popular Car award — (the only Vintage Bentley there). I do have photos from that
event — but have not yet figured how to access them on my new computer operating
system yet."

"Hi, Just seeing
this (website) for the first time
Great JOB!
Hay's book about the trans? It had
an 'A' box when we got it, NO evidence
of any center shift or center brake
lever, but we corrected years ago
the note that it was shortened from
10'10" to 9' something (not 9"
i think) the frame shows no weld/cut
change marks at all, and current at
10'10". About 8 years ago we
rebuilt the rear, with higher gearing,
and went wtih a 'D' box NICE.
The 'A' box from this car has been
sold it went back to the UK,
can look up the name if you need it.
We have had this car on all but 2
NAVBM's missed 2000 the car
was on the way to the UK for the big
tour..." |

"In early December
I sent you 3 photographs of Bentley
Reg. No. XW 9350 which I owned between
1963 and 1966. I had found these amongst
a pile of old photographs, most of
which had not seen the light of day
for over 50 years. I am continuing
to sift through these photographs
and, earlier today, came across some
photographs of a rally of vintage
Bentleys which was held in Hyde Park,
London in 1963 or 1964. They are not
very good but may be of some interest." |
