"Hi Robert - congratulations on your excellent web site and newsletter.

My 3/4.5 is based at my home in Australia although I currently live (and have done for 8+ years) in Wisconsin. I do get to drive it on my two visits per year back home.

I'm originally from the UK and took the car with me to Australia when I emigrated in 1999.

Some of these photos are from when I lived in the UK (including those at Brooklands) the others are at my home in Kangaroo Valley."

  More Info: Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Was to be Alec Pitt's 1950 season competition car reg BWO 469-10: 1 CR, engine SM 3940 (sic) - ? same car as Pitt's JWD 649 chassis AP 32? engine SM 3905 - unnumbered chassis with engine SM 3905 used to rebuilt chassis SM 3902 1972-4. XW 3443 was Vanden Plas 4 seater, rebuilt on 10'10" 4½ Litre frame, for sale 1989. Now Vanden Plas replica on 9'9½" frame."
