A superb original car which looks, drives and performs perfectly. 1924 long chassis 3 Litre, ideal family car with original wind up windows. Very impressive history file, a must for the connoisseur.

Built for those traditional English summers with a quick erecting hood and proper side windows.

Great for an Ascot day or a long rally where comfort is of a paramount desire.

Coachwork is in excellent condition, a little patinated with time but with lovely hides.

She comes well equipped with even a heater wow!!

Just as she left the factory and still drives extremely well.

A very original car, with original body by Sinclair, except for the engine which has been changed at some point in the past. It runs very well. The present owner has done two tours to France this year.

"My father (Frank Grounds) owned this car in the 1960s when it was a 4½ litre."

"My sister Lolita was married in this Bentley. The car has a Sinclair body and in the 1960s had a 4.5 litre engine. I believe the car is now back to 3 litre. My dad sold the car c1968. I believe the car spent the past few years in Sweden and was recently sold by NDR Racing. I've no idea where it went to."

"Hi, have just searched for information on 1924 Bentley XU 5573 and found it on your website. My grandfather owned this car and, when he died in 1948, my grandmother sold it to my father's great uncle. We have been looking at a photo of him and his wife sitting in the car in the very early 1950s.

My father, who is 94 today, recalls bringing the car back from Hayling Island to Hertfordshire when his father died. He remembers having to stop on the side of the road as it got dark because he could not find out how to turn the headlights on. He believes he had to turn the rim of the speedo or one of the dials.

He is delighted to learn that the car is still about. I would love to get hold of a photo of it present day for him."
