The following advertisement text by Stanley Mann was found on the Stanley Mann Racing website on Jun 16, 2008:

On June 16, 2008 the Stanley Mann Racing website states that they restored this Bentley in 1999.

Stanley Mann further says, "She has had one careful owner since then.... He phoned me last week and said he was thinking about selling her and was I interested? So, with cheque book in hand, did the visit and bought her back... If you’re wondering; all I can say is she has been a great investment for him and 'her indoors' and as soon as we’ve checked her out we will put her in our showroom (the car that is)."

The website states that the car is fitted with overdrive.

July 3, 2008 Update on Stanley Mann Racing website states: "She still has her original chassis, engine, gearbox, back axle etc."

1955-1999

According to Stanley Mann, this Bentley was owned by Lord Dunleith from 1955-1999. He was the president of Ulster Vintage Car Club for many years.

Mann states that the car was built with a Gurney Nutting light saloon body when new with Weyman patent design. This coachwork did not stand the test of time and was replaced by its then current owner Lord Dunleath in about 1979 with the VDP body she carries today (as of June 2008). The car was regularly used and looked after.
