1929 3/4½ Litre Bentley
A very appealing vintage Bentley restored over 35 years ago by a highly acknowledged vintage Bentley engineer for his own long term enjoyment. Continuous history from new including a period of long term ownership from 1937 until 1960 in the hands of Dr. Sugden who, along with his family travelled the world in her and unusually was able to use this vintage Bentley through wartime when most cars were laid up due to petrol rationing. Ideal for touring, with a strong and willing 4½ Litre engine.

This car is for sale as of March 15, 2018

"1929 Bentley 4½ Litre Tourer
A 4½ Litre which drives extremely well. Unusually when rebuilt in the 1970s by a well known Bentley enthusiast and engineer it was decided to fit a 3 Litre radiator and to restore this Bentley in the style of Old Mother Gun - the first 4½ Litre Bentley. Such was the rebuild that a party was held in her honour. Not a matching numbered example, but retaining her original heavy pattern chassis. A classic example of the enthusiasm and passion which was put into these wonderful machines by highly knowledgeable folk whose shared and infectious enthusiasm kept the marque alive. Splendid original instruments, body by Robinson, Phoenix 4½ Litre engine and in vintage Bentley terms nothing less than excellent value."

This car is for sale as of Apr 6, 2016.
