has been received from Ricardo Ochoa:
"This rare 4 1/2 litre car, VDP
body aero. Yes, the first owner was
J.W. Gladstone. It was later sent
to Shepherd & Bell in my country,
Argentina. According to the Britsh
press of those times, it would be
used by W.G. Ogden in Argentine races."

According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder
records, this car was originally fitted
with Body No. 1498 with a 2-seater body,
Vanden Plas sketch 369; 5/1928.
Michael Hay, in his book Bentley:
The Vintage Years, 1997, states:
"A/735. "Le Mans Model". Vanden
Plas body no. 1498. Now 4 seater by
Moss, engine HF 3198 ex HF 3197."
