1928 Bentley 6,5 L-Speed Six LeMans Team Car Spez
In 1929 and 1930 Bentley won with the legendary Speed Six superior victories at the 24 Hour of Le Mans.

Few years ago this Bentley 6½ was carefully restored by the renowned Bentley specialist David Aire and built up to the Speed Six Le Mans Team Car Specification. Among other things the engine has been increased to 8 liters capacity! The power of this very impressive car is simply overwhelming! This Bentley stands for an important part of glorious English car history and brings back memories of the legendary 24-hour races on the "Circuit de la Sarthe" of the 20s and early 30s.

These photographs belong to Wim Kamper, a vintage Bentley enthusiast. His main interest lies with the six cylinder cars, but the 3-litre and 4½-litre models are not completely ignored. On this page are the photographs (pre-restoration) that persuaded him to buy the coupe.
