"Just showing off with my beloved Bentleys. The S3 Flying Spur is one of only 19 LHD cars, two of which were sold new to two brothers in Holland. My car never left the country and still has its original Dutch registration. It will be shown at the Chantilly Concours in June."

Paris Amsterdam 2018
The History of Classic Rallying, 25-28 April 2018

"One hundred and twenty years after the original Paris-Amsterdam rally, the KNAC (the Dutch RAC) organised a three-day event through Northern France, Belgium and Holland in which we (Hans Hugenholtz - Sandra Hermanns) participated with our 4 1/2 L Bentley RN3050, registered from the first day UC 2801.

We finished second in class, even after losing quite some time with a broken exhaust, which was temporarily repaired with two cut-up Coca Cola cans with plenty of wire...

Enclosed (above) are some photos from the event, starting at Chantilly Castle and finishing at the Haarzuilens Castle, still owned by the current Baron Van Zuylen van Nijevelt; his great grandfather Baron Etienne was one of the original organisers of the rally and was a founding partner in the Automobile Club de Francem and its first President in 1895."

When the Maharaja of Bhavnagar (India) had his 6½ litre Chassis no. FA2513 rebodied by Barkers in 1938, the original Barker boattail was bought by Coopers who modified it suitably and fitted it to the 4½ litre Chassis No. RN3050 above (with Reg. no. UC 2801).
