  OWNERSHIP HISTORY

1927 to 1937 - C.W. Holcroft (Birmingham)
1937 to 1942 - G. Withnall (Sutton Coldfield)
1942 to 1946 - D.B. Moore (Birmingham)
1946 to 1949 - D.R.S. Turner (Braunston)
1949 to 1957 - A.H. Riddle (Rugby)
1957 to 1997 - C.G.L. Hood (Ravensthorpe)
1997 to 2007 - P.W.L. Hood (Huddersfield)
2007 to 2010 - D. Renotte (Belgium)
From Feb 2010 - Marc Jäppelt (Germany)

The complete restoration was done by the Hood family and some very spezialized and well known vintage expert companies, finalized in 2004. The original engine slept for 50 years, from 1953 to 2003, and was totally rebuilt to the original Speed Model spec.. The body was sent to a complete restoration on original basis. Still today this original body, made by Carbodies, is fitted and has its original wooden frame and aluminium covering. Everything is extremly well and 100% documented by hundreds of pictures, folders of invoices and written material.

"I had the great chance to buy my first Vintage Bentley, after knowing this very special 3 Litre Speed Model since two years. She is an absolutely beautiful one, with all the history documented on original documents (no copies!), since delivered by Bentley Motors in 1927. I am very happy with our new family member — NR 525."
