"Some of the competitors entered in the Keston Pelmore Trophy race at Bentley Silverstone. This car actually belonged to Gerald Keston Pelmore, who founded the BDC in 1936.

It now belongs to Julian Majzub who shared it with Gillian Carr in the race which was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend, involving a wheel change in the pit lane! Photo courtesy of Gillian Carr."

  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1411 with a standard type Sports 4-seater; Weymann blue fabric/blue paint; Capt. Barnato; £170; 9/1927.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1411. Rebuilt on ch. AX1653. D box fitted 1938. Eng now? - ST 3004 in ch. 604."
