Michael Hay, in his book Bentley:
The Vintage Years, 1997, states:
"Vanden Plas body no. 1108. Ch
7 re-numbered - 1923 Boulogne car. ?
was reg XH/XE 9047. Eng 236 ex ch. 238
(also Pike's car). 22/3/26 steering
column and box from chassis A 2 fitted.
8/12/28 bottom half of SE 10 fitted.
Used in 1932 RAC Rally. A 2 - ? any
connection with chassis 2A - see 2A
under "Non-Production Chassis"."
