"Photographs sent by then owner when offering car for sale in 1965. Also included much information about modifications made during his ownership since 1949, including how he had lowered and outrigged the chassis, designed new body (including side screens – see pic above – that could be removed and used as aero screens), moved the radiator forward and replaced the block with an original unused version."

"The Bentley shown here is the very sought after Speed Six. This Bentley is a matching numbers car and is astonishingly originally bodied. Of the 182 Speed Sixes produced this is one of only 11 open cars to retain their original bodies and motors and is the only car in this particular configuration.

FR2637 was delivered to Mr. H Donald Hurt in July of 1929. The coachwork on the car is by Park Ward in a wonderfully gorgeous two seat cigar shape boattail with pontoon fenders and an extended bonnet. The car was originally black with red trim. The car is currently undergoing a Pebble Beach restoration to as new specification."

(This car marked as 'Sold' on the Hageman Motorcars wesbite as of Feb 02, 2009)
