Owner, Julian Bolton

Extract from article published in 'The Automobile', November 1992:

"This example was produced during the first production run of the model, so is an early example.
Originally fitted with a red two seat body by Cunard, who as far as is known, only built the one body on a Bentley, as they were closely allied to Napier.

Rebodied in the early 1950s with the fabric Vanden Plas replica 4 seat body that it retains. The wings were fitted as temporary replacements for some rather strange cycle mudguards, but have stood the test of time and add character to the car."

Owned by Julian Bolton in 1992.

"Is this the same Bentley my Uncle Ian Sutcliffe owned from the 60's to around 1990?"

E-mail 2: Feb 10, 2013
"Not sure if reg no is correct or not? Uncle Ian Sutcliffe owned from late 50s to late 80s. I remember he said it had been re-bodied.....?"
