Schloss Dyck 2009, Germany.
 
 
 

"Picture shows the third (at least) consecutive participation at Schloss Dyck Classic Days in Germany.
For about 15 years know this Bentley is owned by British Gentleman who still travells the distance from his homeland on the cars own wheels.

At Schloss Dyck was a large gathering of the Banjafield Racing Drivers Club."

  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1660 with a Sports 4-seater; green fabric; 6/1930.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1660. Rebodied by Vanden Plas as 2 seater 12/32 - body no. 1892. Since rebuilt by Ambler as Le Mans replica with supercharger. now Birkin replica on 9'9½" chassis."
