"My father bought the car from Mr van Heumen but never took delivery. It was stored at Garage Mol in Tiel (Netherlands) where it was stolen by the German SS as they fled for the advancing British army just before the liberation in April / May 1945.

Presumed to have been taken to Germany. Investigations via the UK Army Headquarters in Germany in 1945 did not produce any information. Most likely destroyed in 1945."

In 1943, John Hugenholtz attempted to purchase it in Holland and took this photo. He got the Instruction Book but German military removed the car before he could purchase it. First owner, Mr. H.J.A. Van Heuman of Delft, Holland was the seller.
