"Still with her original engine and all her other original organs this Bentley Le Mans is the one to lust over. Restored some 7000 miles ago and still looking fresh and just for those who really care, like me, she sounds great and gives a perfect drive.

When she was last in at Stanley Mann Works we fitted an overdrive so now she cruises effortlessly.

If you've been hunting one of these beasts come quick before she finds a new home. After all that's what you had your garage built for.

Price: P.O.A."

"Fully restored some 14 years ago and still looking fresh. One of the best handling and driving Le Mans we ever had. I remember when we sold it to its last owner in the USA in 2002, I always hoped she would come back to 'Blighty'.

This 1928 Le Mans is the classic one. From those big HVG 5 Sloper carburettors (very sexy) to that smashing back end treatment. Won't talk about shaking that ass but you must agree that the extra body work does add a different dimension than just sticking on a Le Mans tank and a white circle. But then all of the coachwork reeks of a lot of thought and correctness.

Finished to the highest standards but as I've just purchased her back from Memphis, Tennessee and she doesn't drive too well on the seas, we'll have to wait for the boat to dock and if all goes well we should be able to show her at the Fruit Farm..."

Old advetisement

Found on STANLEY MANN RACING website on Feb 24, 2016

"Lots of clients, enthusiasts and Bentley folk have asked about Stanley’s advertisements. It is true to say that there were those who purchased a vintage Bentley because of the advertisements and those who purchased in spite of them, but they were remembered. So by popular request here is one from just 14 years ago. These advertisements from the man who took his fun seriously.

This 4.5 Le Mans was resident here on more than one occasion like so many vintage Bentleys." - Stanley Mann Racing
