"I have just been reading your article referring to a Bentley owned by Mr Tyrrell. The car he is referring to was bought by my grandfather in 1961 and it accompanied him to various Bentley and other car shows. I was wondering if you would be able to pass my details onto Mr Tyrrell. I noticed he has sold it but I was wondering if he knew where the car ended up. We lost track of her for a while and were hoping that she has not ended up in someones garage rotting away."

"I purchased EL 8828 from David Scott, Vancouver Canada, in March 1986. It was registered in UK as DS 7420, I managed to recover the original Reg No EL 8828. I was a current member of the BDC and used the car for many continental tours and events with Western Region (Arthur Cox) until I sold to Rea Lipiat of Ringwood in 1993. I have a buff Registration Doc from 1955 to 1963. Also the original 1967 Goodwood Pagent programme where the car was featured on the cover. I understand that the car is now owned by somebody in eastern UK. I have many photos I will send."

"Good morning Mona, I have found my photo album and scanned some of the many photos for your records.

The photos start with my first view of the car from photos from Canada only. I bought it on recommendations from various club members. It is unloading in Zebrugge to home in Brixham Devon where I was living at the time.

I carried out a lot of refurbishment work to the interior, hood and weather gear and generally maintained the car overall. Very reliable, the only replacement were CV joints and a new clutch.

Other photos are general varied use and locations in UK and France. A great car and all numbers correct."
