"I would like to contact the current owners of blower 4½ BGH 55 which started off as DS 240 and SR 7702 (4½ litre), both of which were owned by my father, Harold Wall who was referred to as "Mr W Wall". "W" was his first initial, but he was always known by his second name, Harold.

I have some stories to tell of those Bentleying days and have a number of photos of the car 1959-60 when Dad owned BGH 55 (DS 240) and of 1949-50 when he owned SR 7702.

I was a teenager in the late 40s and accompanied Dad on a number of BDC rallies, and also was with him when he drove at Silverstone."

~~~
I have some further information about BGH 55 which came to me around 1993 from a John Hunt.
The first 25 production Supercharged 4½ Litre cars where Chassis Nos. SM3901-SM3925, all with "smooth-case" blowers. The next 25 were Chassis Nos. MS3926-MS3950 and had "rib-case" blowers.
Production Blower Bentleys had handbrake handles made from rectangular stainless steel, whereas the five 4½ litre race cars for Tim Birkin had the "H" section handle, but were drilled for lightness.
