  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1276 with a standard Sporting 4-seater; blue / grey; 6/1926.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1276. Cardan shaft 6mm short due to road springs being short. Was Storey 2 seater ex ch. 1011 (Vanden Plas tourer on ch. 1011) - now Vanden Plas 4 seater. Engine HT 1643 ex ch. HT 1637 reg 566 JGY."
