According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder
records, this car was originally fitted
with Body No. 1343 with a Saloon as
1342 (metal top), low running boards,
one spare wheel in each front wing;
blue / black; Regd. Singapore; 7/1927.
Michael Hay, in his book Bentley:
The Vintage Years, 1997, states:
"Vanden Plas body no. 1343. Eng
listed as ML 1512 in Service Records,
but believed to be ML 1522 (ML 1512
in ch. HT 1626). Low running boards
and spare wheel in each wing."
