  More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1286 with a standard 4-seater Sports; Weymann maroon cloth / cellulose to match; 7/1926.

Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1287. Last heard of 1962 - eng 409 ex ch. 402. Was in India."
