Chassis no: 925 - Engine no: 944 - Registration no: 5512
Asking price: GBP 275,000

Extra Information
Matching numbers 3/4½ litre totally rebuilt 10,000 kms ago. Every nut and bolt on the car was either replaced or made standard. Car was delivered new to Aust 1925. Engine rebuild inc. new billett c/bal crankshaft, new 4 1/2 litre block from NZ, new Phoenix roller tapets, new camshaft, new ceramic water pump, Radiator recorred. Electric fan NDR alternator. All gears and bearings in engine replaced All brake shafts hard chromed and reground, new kingpins and ball socketds in steering tubes. Electroic ignition built into magnetos, spare rebuilt set of magnetos. A ratio gears fitted with modern style clutch. Diff completely rebuilt with 4 star carrier and 3.3 ratio. Le Mans style tank. All spokes in wheels replaced and new rear splines on new finned brake drums. Compression ratio 6.9 to 1.

This car is currently owned by John McQuay in Australia. It was purchased in 2006.

"I purchased car in 80 boxes of bits, the chassis is now 9 ft 9½ and is being rebuilt as a 3/4½. VDP style body. Should be completed 2009."
