The above photograph
is chassis no. 191 according to Michael
Hay's Michael Hay's "Bentley:
The Vintage Years" -
1997. The book further says: "Although
incorrectly identified as Chassis
No. 438 registered XR 564 in Brian
Smith's 'Vanden Plas - Coachbuilders',
it is known that this motor is Chassis
No. 191, delivered to G H Deane in
May 1923, fitted with this Pullman
Landaulette body at a cost of £525.
Lucas lamps are fitted, and the chassis
lacks front-wheel brakes."
