I
fitted an alternator to my 1926 3 litre
over 20 years ago, it is driven by a pulley
grafted on to the clutch / carden shaft
and mounted almost within the chassis side
rail on the near / let side of the car.
It charges through a completely separate
charging circuit. Request for more details,
as have also fitted one to a 1922 3 litre.
