Woolf Barnato's Le Mans' Hat Trick

In describing the racing career of Capt. Woolf ("Babe") Barnato, the historian is impeded by the seeming ease with which he brought off his wins. His run of successes was marred by no crash and scarcely an incident, a marked contrast to the previous Bentley deeds at Le Mans between the initial victory in 1924 and the fantastic win by Old No 7 after the White House crash in 1927.   Continued...
